Commercial: From the Slopes of Olympus...

I have been tremendously slack in telling you about this, but I have a short essay in this latest version of that fine, combustible publication Smoke: A London Peculiar. It's a a collection of bits, bobs, blather, bluster and other words not beginning with b that paint an askew of London preparing for the Olympics, grumbling as it did, then smiling much more broadly once they'd arrived. Me aside, it's a delightful read, and a much more interesting history of those two weeks last year than any official tome you might wade into it.
