Unfinished London: The Northern Heights Plan
For those of you who are, or ever have been, habitues of Metroland, this is a fine and spirited documentary about one of those ghost Tube projects that never made it, the Northern Heights plan. If it had come about, I'd have lived about 500 yards from one of those stations.
London's 'what-if' nostalgia is great. And also keep an eye out for the documentary's maker, Jay Foreman, of whom one assumes we'll be seeing much more of.

Jay Foreman! He was on my course at uni. Legendary bloke, does an excellent line in comedy songs.
"Moon Chavs" was a particular favourite, as was "Final Countdown" until Richard Whiteley died and ruined it.
I suspected that might have been the case. Were you one his first 400 punters? As it were?
There are attempts to reopen this railway line - but only if you help! See: www.tiny.cc/orbitalroute
Intriguing. Shall check it out.
