Well, it certainly feels that way. Pertinent thought of the day spoken by Tyler Cowen at Marginal Revolution:

It's a little scary that the world's largest insurance company hasn't planned for a rainy day.

Indeed. Scary to the tune of $85bn. Bloody. Hell.
